What?! I was like.....I was not born and live in KL and I don't know where the hell is Wangsa Maju. I only know there is a LRT station at Wangsa Maju which I alight at there before, thats all what I know.
I started to google search room for rent in Wangsa Maju and I found a cool website, ibilik- Malaysia Largest Room Database. I typed Wangsa Maju in search tab, thousand results shown up! I tried to search "Chinese Female" in preference so I don't have to look whole list one by one.I bookmark few rooms which I think suitable for bestie so I can do comparison after that. I found a room costs RM350 per month and it full fill my bestie requirements, besides it is near to shopping mall and mamak, both of her favourite! I text her I found a big room for her where it can stay up to 3 person then she called me and said:" I just asked your help 15 mins ago and you done it so fast! Where you found it?" "ibilik" I said. I was proud of myself haha.
For those who like to travel especially in a huge gang, you can search in short term rentals. There is lot of homestay and apartments which I think price is cheaper than hotel and you can check review before booking. I told my parent about this because they complain Melaka hotels near Jonker always full and some of them are too expensive. Now they have no reason to say NO to Melaka hiak hiak!
For short term rentals payment, you only need to follow few simple steps:
1. Find your ideal place and choose check in date and check out date.
2. Fill in your personal details: Contact and IC numbers.
3. Pay online.
4. Print payment code and check in.
I think there is some improvement can be made in ibilik. Price range for a room should be put in website especially for budget travelers. It would be better if ibilik have Facebook fan page so everyone can view latest news and if they have any doubts just ask in Facebook.
